I feel the need… the need for speed
It was a pleasure to talk all things Top Gun: Maverick with the Producer of the film, Jerry Bruckheimer. Not just a producer for one of the best films of 2022 but also a producer for many, MANY Hollywood classics over the past few decades. From the likes of the original Top Gun in 1986, to the entire Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and my personal favourites, the 2 National Treasure films - among so many more!
My whole life growing up was literally made up of films brought to us by this man. No words can quite put it into perspective that I was able to spend some time in the same room as such a huge figure in the filmmaking world? It still feels bizarre after watching so many of these films throughout my life… but here we are and I’m so very thankful.
